Cooke Aquaculture – Feed System Upgrade
L&M Engineering are undertaking a rolling program of SeaCap barge upgrades for Cooke Aquaculture.

Fabrication works
Cooke Aquaculture is one of Scotland’s largest salmon producers. L&M have been carrying out upgrades of some of the company’s SeaCap feed barges in Shetland. The work involves upgrading the feed systems from twin to quad systems with all associated items including installation of higher capacity generators, associated new distribution systems, installation of blowers, augers, sluices and pipework, manufacture and installation of air coolers, transition pieces to interface with hopper silos, automated bilge pumping systems, installation of selectors, lighting and gantries. L&M have a long history of service in the salmon industry and have been installing feedsystems for over 30 years as well as providing breakdown and repair services to barges and vessels.
