L&M currently employs two electrical apprentices and two engineering apprentices across years 2, 3 and 4 of their training. Their time is divided between college-based learning and hands-on experience, both on-site and in the workshop.
The apprentices are mentored by experienced engineers and work on live marine and industrial engineering projects. This ensures they develop practical skills, safety awareness, and real-world experience alongside their modern apprenticeship and other qualifications.
