Project Description

The Sharyn Louise underwent a substantial refit in 2017. Works carried out by L&M included – Installation of Cummins QSK19 propulsion engine, installation of new Fernstrum grid cooler, removal of 110V DC system, rewire all 110V circuits for 230/400V AC equipment, new deck/hold/accommodation lighting, installation of Mitsubish S6S auxilliary with Mecc Alte generator, second Mecc Alte generator driven by existing CAT auxilliar, installation of new 400V switchboards, installation of hydraulic power pack for conveyors, installation of AM50 bilge/deckwash pumps, replacement of engine room fans, installation of battery chargers and shore supply, upgrades to alarm systems and CO2 pipework.
